Milford Hall Cricket Club - Junior Presentation

James Wallbank with Sam JevonsMilford Hall's Junior cricketers, sponsored by Pickering Butters, celebrated a successful season at the recent presentation evening, which took place in the grand marquee at Milford Hall. It was a season of success for all age groups.

The Under 9's finished as runners up in their Kwik Cricket tournament involving 16 teams. Milford's Under 9's won 11 of their 12 games during the season, losing only narrowly to eventual winners Wightwick and Finchfield.

Milford Hall's Under 11's finished as joint league champions with Penn. This was the fourth year running that Milford's juniors have won this division. The under 11's completed a league and cup double by beating Wolverhampton in an exciting Final.

The Under 12's and Under 13's also collected trophies as champions of their respective age groups. The Under 13s finishing with a 100% record in the league winning 13 out of 13 games.

The Under 15’s had a steady season, winning 6 of their 11 games.

Pickering & Butters trainee solicitor, James Wallbank, himself a former Junior cricketer at Milford, presented the awards at the event which was well attended by players and parents alike. James is pictured here presenting Sam Jevons, Under 13 captain, with his award.
