On the 30th September 2016 our Rugeley office opened its doors to local residents and invited them in for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake! The event was to support this year’s MacMillan “world’s biggest coffee morning”.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. All over the UK annual Coffee Mornings are held to encourage donations to the charity.
As part of the event, Pickering and Butters staff went head to head in a "Bake Off Challenge" to win the "Best Baker Badge!" After each of the many entries had been judged by Partners Jan Boulter and Sean Spinnetto the winning cake was announced as Karen Grimshaw's "Eaton Mess Cake".
Congratulations to Karen and thank you to all staff who donated cakes to the event. Thank you also to everyone who visited on the day helping raise £230.50!!
