Milford Hall Cricket Club Scores Sponsorship

The cricket season is firmly upon us, and with it comes local solicitors firm Pickering and Butters’ renewed commitment to Milford Hall Cricket Club, as it announces its 2012 sponsorship of the team.

Pickering and Butters, which has offices in Stafford and Rugeley, will already be a familiar name to those at the club, as it has been its main sponsor for the last six years, featuring on the team’s shirt and sponsorship boards at the ground, as well as being present at club prize-givings.

Martin Wallbank, partner at Pickering and Butters, comments: “We have always had a strong involvement with Milford Hall Cricket Club, as it’s an important part of the local community and continues to use its standing as a positive influence on patrons.

“We share a commitment to youth development, and just as the club promotes young cricketers up through its ranks, we work with a number of trainee solicitors who, once qualified, join our team. It’s this value, of breeding the next generation of future stars, which makes our partnership such a great match. That’s exactly the reason we have pledged to support the team again in 2012.”

Dave Smith, chairman of Milford Hall Cricket Club, said: “We have a long standing partnership with Pickering and Butters’, which we value immensely, and their continued support is a fantastic boost to the club, players and our supporters.”

Pickering and Butters was founded over a century ago, making it one of Staffordshire’s longest-established legal firms. As well as Stafford, it has an office in Rugeley; together, they provide a full range of legal services. The company is Lexcel accredited – awarded in recognition of its excellent client care and consistent high-quality service and practice management.
