On the 30th September 2016 between 9:30am and 1pm our Rugeley office is opening its doors and inviting you in for a cup of coffee and a slice of cake to support this year’s MacMillan “world’s biggest coffee morning” event next week.
The McMillan coffee morning event is held at volunteer venues throughout the UK and raises millions to “help make sure that no one faces cancer alone”.
On the morning, visitors will be welcomed with the offer of a hot drink and a choice of cakes baked by the Pickering & Butters staff for a small donation to the charity event. Daniel Pegg, Partner, comments: “all of the staff are really excited for this year’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning Event and are busy planning recipes for the cake which they hope will win them the coveted “best baker” award in the office! On the day we will be not only selling cakes to raise money in support of this fantastic cause, but will also be running a competition as to which member of staff bakes the best cake on the day. The winner will be announced at the end of the event by a Partner who will be the judge on the day.”
