Pickering & Butters are once again sponsoring Katharine House Hospice’s Care not Cards appeal this Christmas.
Katharine House Hospice provides free care and support for adults and their families across Mid-Staffordshire coping with a progressive illness. It relies upon the generosity of the local community to help generate 75% of funds needed to run its range of vital services.
The appeal enables employees and community groups to leave Christmas greetings on a festive poster and make a small donation rather than sending individual Christmas cards. The poster saves on the cost and wastage of Christmas cards for colleagues – whilst helping this vital local charity.
Last week James Wallbank and Katie Russell helped launch the 2018 appeal. James Wallbank from Pickering and Butters said “we are delighted to be involved with this appeal. It really proves how local businesses and employees can make a great difference to this vital local charity in a very simple way”.
