Katie White

Katie is a Partner and Head of the Business Department. After studying at the University of Liverpool for her Law Degree, she joined P&B in 2015 as a Trainee Solicitor and was made a Partner in 2024.

Expertise

Katie undertakes all aspects of commercial property work including sales and purchases of commercial land and buildings, lending and refinance, and assisting both commercial landlords and tenants on leasehold property matters.

She also deals with rural and agricultural land law matters for clients including farm sales and purchases, agricultural refinancing, overage and development agreements, as well as advising on agricultural tenancies and partnership matters.

In addition to her property expertise, she is experienced in dealing with all types of company and commercial matters and has advised clients on a broad range of company law matters, with a particular focus on business acquisitions and disposals (whether by share or asset sale) as well as group reorganisations. She has supported clients across diverse sectors, with a key focus on franchising which is an area she takes particular interest in.

Katie has a strong and loyal client base and she prides herself on providing an excellent and efficient service. She always wants the best outcome for her clients and is known for her pragmatic advice and no fuss attitude.

My career highlight so far...

The stand out moment has to be being made a Partner but on a daily basis I enjoy helping clients move matters forward to completion with the minimum amount of stress possible.

My happiest memory is...

All the time I have spent with my friends and family on holiday in Tenby, South Wales. A group of us have been going every year since I was born and it is one of my favourite places. I can’t believe I am now going with my own family and 2 young daughters!
